I have visited Rome two times. Every time, the same beauty.
Rome is the capital of Italy and one of the largest cities in Europe. As is already known, the history of the city dates back to ancient times. The city has been inhabited for over 28 centuries and according to mythology was founded by Romulus and Remus. Today it is one of the most historic cities on the planet, and also one of the most traveled. The sights of the city are endless, most notably the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican City.
All roads lead to Rome with a Zenit 12XP and Kodak Portra 400 (35mm).
Unfortunately, my love and preoccupation with the art of photography began long after my last visit to the eternal city. This is because I do not have enough photos from Rome. Below you will find some photos, while among them there is St. Peter's Square, the Colosseum & Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II.
The Italian capital is my first trip abroad to my country, Greece. Every look at the city of Rome is a charming moment for the eye of the traveler. The city itself is a museum. There is no need to talk about its sights, which are known everywhere in the world. Personally, Rome and its people made me feel welcomed. It made me feel like I was home, and not like a stranger who came to offer his savings and leave.
I would also like to thank the website “Cowboys From Space” which gave me the opportunity to talk about my trip. You can ready it “here“!
