Without many hours at our disposal, my company and I visited the city of Prague on February 18, 2020.
Apart from being the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague is also its largest city. Since 1992, the historic center of the city has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the most touristic cities in the world, with the most important attractions being Charles Bridge, the Castle of the city, the Old Town Hall with Astronomical Clock and St. Vitus Cathedral.
Four hours around Vltava river.
The Vltava River crosses the city of Prague and almost all the sights that a traveler should see are around the river. With only a few hours at our disposal, we chose to walk in the streets of the city, and not to visit a museum or anything related. Below you will find among other photos, the Castle of the City & the Charles Bridge.
Our visit to Prague was combined with our trip to the city of Nuremberg, Germany. The two cities are relatively close to each other (about 3 hours by bus). Unfortunately, we did not have much time in the capital of the Czech Republic. This led us to try to see as many things as we could. The city is particularly impressive. Both the architecture and the atmosphere of the city itself win over the visitor. Sadly, in the negatives of the city, we can not overlook the extreme tourist route which the city has decided to follow, but also an important part of its citizens. Without wanting to degrade it or diminish its value, Prague is very much like other typical European cities (eg Budapest, Vienna). A city beautiful city, but personally not my favorite.
